Token Marketing Agency for the Part of a Launch That Outlasts It

Launch campaigns buy a week of attention. We build what a fund, an exchange and a holder check before and after it: the docs, the brand results, the coverage, the data sites and the answers to “is it legit”, written to the promotion rules of every market the token reaches.

Fixed-fee audit, two weeks, no retainer to start.

Best for
Projects issuing a token for a product that exists or is about to: protocols, networks, games and apps, from three months before the token generation event to the year after it.
What you get
Site, docs and token pages that rank, brand results you can show a fund, coverage, accurate data on the trackers and lists, and AI-answer visibility, under one plan.
Price
Fixed-fee audit, $6,500, delivered in two weeks. Retainers from $6,000 a month. Thirty days’ notice, no minimum term. Paid media placements are billed separately and shown with their price before they are bought.
How we work
In the EU, nothing that markets the token goes out before its white paper. UK-facing promotions only with an approval route. Every paid placement labelled. No undisclosed promotion.
Measured by
Holders and users who arrive through search and coverage, brand results that answer the trust questions, and the token described correctly on the sites and in the AI answers people check.
Not what we sell
Presale and sale promotion, KOL campaigns, exchange listings, market making, airdrop campaigns and paid ads. If that is the brief, we say so on the first call.

What AI tells a buyer about a new token

Five of our questions were about new tokens: how to check one is legit, which tools catch a rug pull, whether presales and AI tokens are scams, and where to find projects that are real. Here is what the answers were built from, and what it means for a launch.

On 23 October 2026 we put 36 questions to Perplexity and to ChatGPT with web search, the kind a user asks before choosing: the safest exchange for a beginner in the US, the UK or the EU, the most secure hardware wallet, where to earn yield on stablecoins, which lending protocol is safest, where to stake ETH, how to tell whether a new token is legit, the best crypto debit card, the best crypto tax software. Every question asked for a recommendation, so every answer names products, and we read which pages each answer was built from.

What we measuredResultWhat it means for you
Cited pages that are a ranked list or a comparison69% on Perplexity (246 of 358 citations), 73% on ChatGPT (56 of 77)Buyers who check a token are pointed to lists and comparisons. Being on the trackers and lists that rank, with correct data, is the first trust signal you control.
Citations on the own site of a project the answer recommends6% on Perplexity (22 of 348). In 15 of those 22 the page was the project’s own “best of” list ranking itself among competitorsThe project’s own site is rarely the source, even when the answer is about it. A token page that answers supply, unlocks, audits and team in plain words is what changes that.
Coinbase, the brand named most oftenNamed in 12 Perplexity and 16 ChatGPT answers. coinbase.com cited in none of themEven the biggest names are described on other people’s pages. A launch press release does not put your site into the answer; the pages around you do.

A tax-software company is the fourth most-cited domain, for its pages on the best exchangesExchanges and data sites publish the explainers and the “how to check a token” guides. Your own version, about your token, is the page a careful buyer wants to find.
Answers citing crypto media27 of 36 on Perplexity, but 32 of the 50 media citations are the outlet’s own ranked lists, not news. 2 of 36 on ChatGPTCrypto media appear through their ranked lists. Coverage that ends up on the right list moves the answer; a sponsored launch post rarely does.
ChatGPT answers given without searching the web11 of 36, including both stablecoin-safety questions and all five questions about whether a new token is legitOn all five new-token questions ChatGPT answered without searching the web. Whatever it says about your token comes from what it learned, so the record has to exist before the launch.
Reddit, YouTube and regulators citedReddit 8 citations of 358, YouTube 0, regulators 2, on Perplexity. None of the three on ChatGPTReddit and YouTube barely appear in these answers, but they rank in Google for your ticker the week you launch. That is where we answer questions in your team’s name.

All five times we asked ChatGPT whether a new token was legit, it answered from memory and searched nothing. A token launched after the model’s training is not in that memory at all. For a launch, that means the pages a model will later learn from, your docs, the trackers, the coverage and the lists, decide what it says about you next year.

Method: Perplexity (sonar) and ChatGPT (gpt-4.1-mini with web search) through the API, 23 October 2026, one answer per question, 36 questions in eight categories, US unless the question was about the UK or the EU. A source is a distinct page the answer cites; ChatGPT’s logo links above each product it lists are not counted. Domains were classified by hand and five answers checked against the raw responses. A small sample, read as a direction: Perplexity returns at most ten sources an answer, so its ten is a ceiling, not a finding.

What token buyers and holders search, and whose page wins it

Around a launch, people search before they buy and after they hold. We measured what they search and read who holds each result.

Google Ads search volume, US, monthly average, pulled 23 October 2026; Google rounds these into buckets. The winners are the US top 10 on the same day. Searches for your own ticker do not exist until you launch, which is why the pages that answer them have to be ready before it.

Why token marketing that lasts is a different job

Launch marketing is built around a date. Five things decide what is left after it.

  1. 1

The buyer checks before the buyer buys

Funds, exchange listing teams and careful buyers search the name, read the docs, look up unlocks and audits, and ask an assistant whether it is legit. That check happens on pages you either built or left to someone else.

  2. 2

Every launch post is a regulated promotion

In the EU marketing for a token must follow its white paper and cannot start before it is published. In the UK an invitation to buy is a financial promotion that needs an approval route and a risk warning. In the US, paid promotion of a token that is a security must disclose the payment and its amount.

  3. 3

    Paid launch channels are closed

Google Ads refuses ICOs, presales and initial DEX offerings everywhere, and X prohibits ICO, IEO and IDO ads. What is left is search, coverage, the data sites and the communities, and all of them remember.

  4. 4

The data sites describe you first

Price trackers, unlock calendars and contract scanners are where a holder lands, and their data comes from what you submit or fail to. A wrong supply number or a missing audit link is read by everyone who checks.

  5. 5

The launch week ends; the searches do not

After the event, holders search how the token is used, when supply unlocks, where it trades and whether the team is still building. A project with answers on its own domain keeps those holders; one without them sends them to forums.

What we do

Six services, timed to the launch and the year after it. Most projects start with the audit three months out.

Token pages and docs

The site, docs and token pages a fund or a holder reads: what the token is for, supply and unlock schedule, audits, contracts, where it trades, written as information rather than as an invitation, and built to rank for the questions people ask.

Output: the page about your token that people find first.

Brand results

What appears for the project’s name with “legit”, “scam”, “review” and “unlock”: official pages that answer it, coverage you can stand behind, and impersonation and phishing clones reported to the search engines and hosts.

Output: a first page for your name you would show a fund.

Trackers, lists and data sites

Accurate data on the price trackers, unlock calendars, contract scanners and ranked lists people check: submissions, corrections, audit links and team information, kept current after each unlock and upgrade.

Output: your token described correctly wherever it is checked.

Coverage

Earned coverage of the product, the audit and the launch in crypto and financial media, and sponsored placements only where they reach readers you need, labelled and priced before you buy.

Output: a coverage list you own, with what each piece cost.

Search after the launch

The searches holders and users run once the token exists: how it is used, how staking or governance works, fees, comparisons with similar tokens, and the questions your support channels answer every day.

Output: holders who find answers on your domain.

AI visibility

A tracked prompt set for your token and category, the sources the answers lean on, and the work that makes your pages and coverage one of them before the next model is trained.

Output: mentions and citations on prompts you chose, reported monthly.

Who this is for, and who it is not for

The plan works for tokens with a product behind them. Two briefs it does not fit, so we say which before the call.

For

  • Tokens for a product

Governance, utility and network tokens for a protocol, network, game or app that exists or launches with the token.

  • Projects three months out

Early enough to build the docs, brand results and data before the date, when funds and exchanges start checking.

  • Projects a year after

When the campaign has ended, the unlocks continue and the question is who still holds and uses the token.

Not for

  • Selling the sale

Promotion of a presale or a token sale to investors, coordinated shilling or KOL campaigns. That is not what we sell.

  • Listings and market making

Exchange listings, liquidity and price support are not marketing. We do not sell them.

What the promotion rules change for a token launch

A token launch is marketing in every regulator’s eyes. Here is the short version for the markets we are asked about most.

WhereRuleWhat it changes for organic work
United KingdomFCA financial promotions regime for qualifying cryptoassets, in force since 8 October 2023 (COBS 4.12A)A promotion to UK consumers, from any country, must be made or approved by an FCA-authorised firm or made by an FCA-registered crypto firm, and carry the FCA risk warning. Incentives to invest are banned, refer-a-friend bonuses included. The registered-firm route ends on 25 October 2027, when the new UK regime starts
United Kingdom, social mediaFCA guidance FG24/1 on financial promotions on social media, March 2024Influencers and affiliates who promote crypto without an authorised firm’s approval may be committing a criminal offence. A paid post needs an approved promotion behind it
European UnionMiCA, Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, applying in full since 30 December 2024. Every national transitional period had ended by 1 July 2026Marketing for a token must be identifiable as marketing, fair, clear and not misleading, and consistent with its white paper, and it cannot start before the white paper is published. A service provider needs MiCA authorisation to serve EU clients
United StatesSecurities Act section 17(b); FTC Endorsement Guides, revised July 2023Anyone paid to promote a token that is a security must disclose the payment and its amount: the SEC settled with Kim Kardashian for $1.26 million over one undisclosed post in October 2022. Paid endorsements must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously
Google, Meta and X adsEach platform’s crypto advertising policy, as read on 23 October 2026Exchanges and wallets need a local licence and platform certification, country by country. Google Ads does not accept ICOs, DeFi trading protocols or trading-signal sites anywhere
Google SearchSearch quality rater guidelines, September 2025; spam policies, updated 28 August 2026Content about investing money is read at the “Your Money or Your Life” bar: who wrote it, what it is based on, whether fees and risks are stated. Links in paid press releases and sponsored posts must carry nofollow or sponsored; keyword-anchored paid links are link spam

What this means for the plan

The white paper first, in the EU

Nothing that markets the token goes out before its white paper is published, every piece is identifiable as marketing, and nothing says what the white paper does not.

Information is not invitation, in the UK

A page that explains supply and use is information. A page that tells UK readers to buy is a financial promotion, with the risk warning and an approval route, and incentives to invest are banned. We write that kind only with your compliance sign-off.

Paid promotion is disclosed

In the US, anyone paid to promote a token that is a security must disclose the payment and the amount, and paid endorsements must be clear and conspicuous. We do not seed launches through creators who will not disclose.

Ads are closed; organic is not

Google Ads refuses ICOs and initial DEX offerings in every country. Search, coverage and the data sites are the channels a launch can use, so they carry the plan.

Checked at the regulators’ and the platforms’ own pages on 23 October 2026. This is how the rules shape our work, not legal advice: whether a promotion is approved is your compliance team’s or your approver’s decision, and we plan the content around it.

How we work

Four stages around the launch. You can stop after the first and keep everything we found.

  1. 1

    Audit

Two weeks, fixed fee, ideally three months out

What funds, exchanges and buyers will find when they check your name today, which trackers and lists will describe you, what your site and docs answer, what the AI answers say, and what the rules in your markets allow.

You keep: the plan and the launch checklist.

  2. 2

    Before the launch

    The months before the event

Token pages and docs, the brand results, data submissions prepared, spokespeople and the first coverage, all checked against the white paper and your compliance sign-off.

You keep: a project that checks out when someone looks.

  3. 3

    Launch

The event and the weeks after

Data on the trackers corrected as it goes live, coverage of the product rather than the price, brand results watched daily for clones and false claims.

You keep: an accurate record of the launch.

  4. 4

    The year after

    Quarter 2 onwards

The searches holders run, unlock and upgrade updates on every site that tracks you, coverage of what the team ships, and AI answers checked against it.

You keep: holders who find answers on your domain.

What we report

Monthly: what the first page for your name shows; which trackers, lists and data sites describe you correctly and which do not; non-brand clicks and the users and wallets they bring, from your analytics; coverage placed, marked earned or sponsored, with cost; mentions and citations on the tracked AI prompt set. Price, volume and followers are not results and are not reported as one.

Proof

We do not publish client results we are not cleared to name, and a launch “sold out in minutes” is not a result we would sell you. Here is what we show instead.

On a call

The brand results, data-site corrections and coverage we have done for projects like yours, with the client’s permission.

Pricing and what drives it

Two numbers are fixed; the rest depends on four things we can name.

The audit is $6,500, fixed

Delivered in two weeks as a prioritised plan and a launch checklist. If we are not the right fit we say so in it, and the plan is yours to run with anyone.

Retainers start at $6,000 a month

For one token and product in one language. Thirty days’ notice, no minimum term.

What moves the retainer

How close the launch is, the number of markets and languages, how much coverage the category needs, and whether the brand results already carry impersonation or false claims to clear.

What is billed separately, and what is not

Sponsored articles, paid distribution and other media costs are billed separately, each shown with its price before it is bought. Reporting, data submissions, the tracked AI prompt set and calls are not extra.

Launch agency, organic agency, or both

Most token projects compare these two. They do different jobs on different dates.

Questions to ask any token marketing agency

Including us. The answers tell you more than the KOL list.

  1. 1

Which of your posts and placements are paid, and how are they disclosed?

    Expect
A list that marks every paid piece, with what it cost and how it was labelled.
    Us
Paid placements are labelled, priced and shown to you first. We do not sell KOL posts.
  2. 2

What will you publish before our white paper?

    Expect
In the EU, nothing that markets the token.
    Us
Product and team news only, until the white paper is out.
  3. 3

    Who approves UK-facing promotions?

    Expect
A named approval route, or a plan that does not invite UK buyers.
    Us
Your compliance team or approver, before anything goes out.
  4. 4

What will a fund find when it searches our name?

    Expect
A plan for the first page for your name, not just a list of hits.
    Us
Brand results are the second deliverable of the audit.
  5. 5

Do you guarantee listings, a price or a sell-out?

    Expect
    No.
    Us
    No. Nobody honest does.
  6. 6

What happens after the launch week?

    Expect
A plan for the searches and data that continue.
    Us
The searches, unlocks and data after the launch are in the same plan, not an extra.

What we do not promise

Four things you will hear elsewhere and not here.

A price, a listing or a sell-out

Marketing that promises any of them is selling something else.

Tier-1 coverage by the launch date

Earned coverage follows the story. A date-certain headline is a purchase, and we will say so.

Holders that are not holders

Airdrop farmers and bought followers are not reported as growth.

Marketing before the white paper

In the EU it is not allowed, so it is not in the plan.

Questions

We are launching a token. Which marketing agency should we use?

Usually two: a launch agency for the weeks around the event, if you want one, and an organic agency for what a fund, an exchange and a holder check before and after it. Whichever you hire, ask which posts are paid and how they are disclosed, and walk away from anyone guaranteeing a listing or a price.

What does a token marketing agency do?

Most run launch campaigns: KOL posts, communities, quests and sponsored media. We do the part that lasts: token pages and docs, brand results, accurate data on the trackers and lists, coverage of the product, and the searches holders run after the event.

How much does token launch marketing cost?

Ours starts at $6,000 a month, after a $6,500 fixed-fee audit, with any sponsored placements billed separately and shown first. AI assistants quote buyers $20,000 to $150,000 for a launch campaign, with KOL payments on top.

When should we start marketing a token launch?

Three months before the event for the work that lasts: docs, brand results and data take weeks to put in place and funds check them early. In the EU, nothing that markets the token goes out before the white paper is published.

Can you get our token listed on exchanges?

No. We do not sell listings or listing support. We make sure that when an exchange’s listing team checks your project, the brand results, docs, audits and coverage they find are in order.

How do we make sure our token data is correct on trackers?

Submit it through each site’s own process before the launch, with contracts, supply, unlock schedule, audits and team, and correct it after every unlock or upgrade. We map which sites your buyers check and keep the data current.

How do people check if a token is legit?

With contract scanners, the trackers, the team and audit information, the forums and an AI assistant. In our measurement ChatGPT answered every new-token question from memory, so the record about your token on those sites is what it will repeat.

Do you run KOL or influencer campaigns?

No. Paid posts promoting a token need disclosure in the US and an approved promotion behind them in the UK, and the reach ends with the budget. We build the pages and coverage those campaigns send people to.

Start with the audit.

Tell us the token, the product, the launch date and the markets. We come back in two weeks with what a fund, an exchange and a buyer will find when they check you, which sites will describe your token, what the rules allow, and what the months before and after the launch should hold. If we are not the right fit we will say so.

We reply within one business day, from a person.

Two fields. We work the rest out on the call.
