iGaming Affiliate SEO for Casino Review, Comparison and Tipster Sites

Organic growth for the sites that send players to licensed operators, run page by page against what each page earns, and without the tactics Google’s spam policies now name.

Fixed-fee audit, two weeks, no retainer to start.

Best for
Casino and betting affiliates: review portals, comparison and bonus sites, tipster and odds media, and affiliate groups running several sites across markets.
What you get
A money-page plan by market, technical SEO for large review estates, review content built the way Google’s reviews guidance asks, authority links shown before they are bought, and a place in the AI answers that now choose which review sites a player reads.
Price
Fixed-fee audit, $6,500, delivered in two weeks. Retainers from $6,000 a month for one market. Fixed fees, no revenue share. Thirty days’ notice, no minimum term.
How we work
Affiliates of licensed operators only. No private networks, expired-domain sites or parasite pages for your money pages. One affiliate per market. Every link placement shown to you before it is bought.
Timeline
Technical and indexation fixes show inside weeks. Money-page positions in a competitive market take two to three quarters.
Measured by
Positions and clicks on the pages that earn, clicks out to operators, and first deposits where your programmes report them. Traffic on its own is not a result.

The new shelf: which review sites AI sends players to

A player who asks an AI assistant which casino to trust gets an answer built from review sites. We measured whose, because a place in that answer is now a position worth working for.

In September 2026 we put 159 player questions to ChatGPT with web search switched on, across 23 markets: which online casinos are the most trusted and pay out fastest, and which sites to read before choosing one. Forty-eight of them asked the second question directly, the one an affiliate lives on, in 22 markets from the UK and the US to Malta, the Netherlands, Romania and Canada. We recorded every site each answer cited.

What we measuredResultWhat it means for an affiliate
Of the 20 sources cited most across all 159 answers, affiliate and review sites14. One operator’s own site; the rest a logo archive, a sports site and TrustpilotAffiliates are already the material the answer is made of. The question is which ones, and that is open to work.
Sites cited per answer to “which sites should I read”8 on averageThe answer is a shortlist, not a single winner. Being on it is the new top three.
How stable the shortlist is within one marketUK: 8 answers, 10 sites in total, three of them in 7 of the 8Ask again and you get nearly the same list. The seats are few, and the sites holding them hold them on every asking.
Answers citing a large international portal14 of 48Size is not the ticket: 34 of the 48 answers cite no large portal at all. The seats go to the sites that answer that market’s question.
Outside the UK and the US, citations going to sites on the market’s own country domain118 of 312, 38%The list is local. A site built for one market is what the answer reaches for, and local sites on a .com come on top of this figure.

The largest portals hold fewer seats than their size suggests. Across the 48 answers, casino.org was cited in 7, gambling.com in 4, and casino.guru and AskGamblers in none. The model cites the pages it finds for that market’s question, and it does not check who stands behind them: in the UK answers to the other question, one of the five most-cited sources was labour-history.org.uk, a former archive whose domain now hosts “Best European Casinos 2026”.

Method: ChatGPT (gpt-4.1-mini) through the API with web search on, September 2026; 159 answers, 48 of them to “Which websites should I read to compare and review online casinos in [market] in 2026? Name specific sites.” Cited domains read by script and checked by hand. Large international portals counted: casino.org, gambling.com, casino.guru, AskGamblers, Covers, Oddschecker, VegasInsider, bonus.com. Small samples per market; read the market figures as a direction, not a ranking.

Why affiliate SEO is its own discipline

An affiliate site is judged harder than an operator’s and earns from fewer pages. Five things follow, and they decide whether a site that ranks today still earns after the next update.

  1. 1

Google’s spam policies name affiliate tactics

Thin affiliation, scaled content abuse, expired domain abuse and the site reputation policy are each in Google’s spam policies, and the examples Google gives include casino content on a former school’s domain and a “best casinos” page on a medical site. A plan that leans on any of them is a plan with a date on it.

  2. 2

A review is judged as a review

Google’s guidance on reviews asks for evidence of your own experience, what sets one option apart, and first-hand reasons for calling something the best; on a site with a lot of review content, every page can be judged that way. A casino review that restates the bonus loses to one that shows a tested withdrawal, a published method and a named reviewer.

  3. 3

The link market is your own neighbourhood

Affiliates buy casino links from the same networks that sell them to everyone else, and Google discounts that neighbourhood together. Paid placements are advertising and are marked as such; what earns positions is an audience that would link to you anyway.

  4. 4

The operator’s compliance team reads your pages

In the UK the operator answers for its affiliates and its contracts must let it drop one that breaks the advertising code; in Ontario a regulator fined an operator over its affiliate’s bonus marketing; in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan the affiliate itself registers or is licensed. A page that breaks an advertising rule costs the deal before it costs the ranking.

  5. 5

Revenue sits on a few pages

Top lists, brand reviews and bonus pages in a handful of markets earn most of the money, and Google judges review-heavy sites as a whole, so thousands of thin pages pull those few down. Pruning, consolidation and a page map ordered by revenue come before new content.

What we do

Six services, one plan per site and market. Most affiliates start with the audit and add the rest as the plan proves out.

Money-page strategy

Which queries pay in each market and which page type wins them: a top list, a brand review, a bonus page, a guide. A page map with one primary query per page, so your own pages stop competing with each other, and the pages that earn get the attention first.

The page list for the next two quarters, ordered by what each page can earn

Technical SEO and pruning

Indexation and crawl budget on estates of thousands of review, bonus and game pages; geo-targeted top lists that do not look like cloaking; hreflang across country folders; and pruning, because thin pages are judged together with the ones that earn.

A smaller, cleaner estate with the money pages indexed and fast

Review and comparison content

Reviews built the way Google’s reviews guidance asks: evidence of testing, what sets one operator apart, how it was rated and by whom. A published method, real authors, bonus terms and licences checked against the source, and a compliance read before anything goes live.

Pages that rank, get cited and pass an operator’s compliance team

Authority links

Editorial placements on sites with real traffic in adjacent topics, chosen by audience rather than by a domain-rating list; anchor text and velocity controlled; the sponsored flag where the placement is paid. Every placement is shown before it is bought, and the list is yours.

A link profile the next update strengthens rather than discounts

Recovery after an update

When traffic falls we say what it was before we touch anything: a core update, a spam policy, a manual action, a technical failure. Read from Search Console page by page before and after the rollout, with the fix written for that cause and not for all of them at once.

A diagnosis you can act on, and a plan sized to the cause

AI visibility

A tracked set of the questions players ask in your markets, the review sites each answer cites, and the work that puts your pages on that list: answer-shaped sections, a clean entity, citations from the sources the models already read.

Citations on prompts you chose, reported monthly by market

Who this is for, and who it is not for

The plan works for three kinds of affiliate and fails for three, so we say which before the call.

For

  • Established review and comparison sites

Earning from licensed operators in one or more markets, with positions to grow or to win back after an update.

  • Tipster, odds and betting media

Prediction, odds-comparison and sports-betting content sites, where the estate is large, seasonal and changes by the fixture.

  • Affiliate groups

Several sites across markets, with an in-house team that needs a second plan, a specialist skill or a market it cannot staff.

Not for

  • A new site on a small budget

Our floor is $6,000 a month. A site that is not earning yet is better served by a freelancer and a year of content; come back with the audit when it is.

  • Affiliates of unlicensed operators

Not a case-by-case judgement: grey-market work puts every other client’s link estate at risk.

  • Anyone who wants scale through shortcuts

Private networks, expired-domain sites, pages placed on other people’s domains, content produced at volume to rank: we will not run them, quietly or otherwise.

Running a licensed casino or sportsbook rather than an affiliate site? The plan is different, and so is the page: iGaming SEO for operators.

The rules that bind an affiliate, market by market

Licensed markets only, and only the ones we can staff. These are the rules that reach the affiliate rather than the operator, for the markets we are asked about most.

MarketRegulator and ruleWhat it means for an affiliate site
United KingdomGambling Commission, LCCP social responsibility code 1.1.2; CAP Code, section 16The operator is responsible for the affiliates it contracts, and its contracts must let it end the deal with one that breaks an advertising code. The CAP Code’s gambling rules cover affiliate marketing by name, and both the brand and the affiliate answer for an ad, so your pages are audited as theirs.
Ontario, CanadaAGCO, Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming 1.19, 1.21 and 2.05Marketing affiliates do not, as a rule, register with the AGCO; the operator answers for you as if you were bound by the same standards, and you may not also refer players to unregistered sites. Bonuses and inducements may not be advertised publicly, affiliate links included, which rules out the classic bonus page for Ontario. In March 2025 the AGCO fined an operator $110,000 over its affiliate’s inducement marketing.
United StatesNew Jersey DGE, Pennsylvania PGCB, Michigan MGCB and other state regulatorsThe affiliate is licensed or registered state by state, and the deal decides which: on revenue share, an ancillary licence in New Jersey, certification in Pennsylvania and a supplier licence in Michigan; on flat fees or CPA, a registration. Pages and top lists are geo-targeted per state, to operators licensed there.
GermanyGGL, Halle; State Treaty on Gambling 2021, section 5Advertising unlicensed gambling is banned, so a top list may carry only operators on the GGL whitelist. For most online games an affiliate link may not be paid on turnover, deposits or stakes, which changes the economics of the page before it changes the SEO.
NetherlandsKansspelautoriteit; Advertising Decree as amended from 1 July 2023Untargeted advertising has been banned since 1 July 2023. Online advertising, through news, comparison and other affiliate sites included, is allowed only if at least 95% of the people it reaches are 24 or older and excluded and vulnerable players are kept out; the licensee answers for it, through you.
SwedenSpelinspektionen; Gambling Act 2018:1138Promoting gambling offered without a Swedish licence is banned for anyone doing it for profit and is a criminal offence, so a Swedish top list is a list of Swedish licensees. Gambling marketing must be moderate and must not target self-excluded players.

If your market is not in the table, we tell you on the first call what standing it up would take, rather than taking the retainer and learning on your revenue.

How we work

Four stages. You can stop after the first and keep everything we found.

  1. 1

    Audit

    Two weeks, fixed fee

Which pages earn and which carry dead weight, who outranks your money pages and with what kind of page, what blocks the rest, and which review sites the AI answers in your markets cite instead of you. Delivered as a prioritised plan, not a crawl export.

    You keep: the plan

  2. 2

    Foundations

    Months 1 to 3

Indexation, pruning, site structure, country targeting, page templates for reviews and top lists. The work that makes everything after it cheaper.

You keep: a clean, indexable estate

  3. 3

    Authority

    Month 2 onwards

Review content, links and AI citations, run together so the site reads as one trusted source rather than a set of campaigns.

You keep: a link list and a content estate that are yours

  4. 4

    Scale

    Quarter 2 onwards

New markets or new sites on the system proven in the first, with reporting that shows what each returns.

You keep: a per-market view of what organic earns

What we report

Monthly, per market: positions and clicks on the money pages and the queries behind them; clicks out to operators where you track them; first deposits and revenue where your programmes report them and you share them; citations on the tracked AI prompt set. Traffic alone is not a result and is not reported as one.

Proof

We do not publish client results we are not cleared to name. Affiliates know better than anyone what a screenshot of a traffic graph is worth. Here is what we show instead.

On a call

Search Console and analytics data from the properties we run, with the client’s permission, for a site like yours.

On this page

Our own measurement work, with method and date: the review-site run above. And the agency side: on 22 October 2026 we put nine questions an affiliate asks (“which SEO agencies specialise in casino affiliate websites”, “who helps a gambling affiliate recover from a Google update”, “who does SEO for tipster and odds sites”) to ChatGPT. It named a different short list each time, and no agency appeared in more than four of the nine answers. That is the method we sell: measure the surface, find the open seat, build the page that fills it.

Read the review-site measurement

Pricing and what drives it

Two numbers are fixed; the rest depends on four things we can name.

The audit is $6,500, fixed

Delivered in two weeks as a prioritised plan. If we are not the right fit we say so in it, and the plan is yours to run with anyone.

Retainers start at $6,000 a month

For one site in one market. Fixed fees, no revenue share. Thirty days’ notice, no minimum term.

What moves the retainer

The number of sites and markets; the size of the estate (a twelve-page bonus site is not a portal with ten thousand reviews); how much authority work the market needs to close the gap; and whether the site needs recovering before it can grow. Link placements are scoped in the plan and shown to you before they are bought.

Why no revenue share

An agency on revenue share is paid for whatever sends clicks this month, which is the incentive behind most of the tactics Google now penalises. On a fixed fee our interest is the same as yours: a site that is still earning after the next update.

Agency, freelancer or in-house

The comparison an affiliate actually makes is not us against another agency. It is this.

Specialist agencyFreelancerIn-house team

Monthly cost, one marketFrom $6,000$2,000 to $6,000Two to four salaries plus tools and link budget

Best whenRecovering, entering new markets, or growing a site that already earnsA defined task on a site you run yourselfSeveral sites and markets with organic as the business

Most affiliate groups land on the third column with the first for what they cannot staff: a market, a recovery, a link programme they want held to a standard. We work in that setup and hand over the plan, the templates and the link list.

Questions to ask any affiliate SEO provider

Including us. The answers tell you more than the pitch.

  1. 1

Show me a link you placed last month: the URL, its traffic, the sponsored flag, who owns the site.

    Expect
You see it before you sign, and it is not on a site the agency controls.
    Us
Every placement is shown before it is bought, and the list is yours.
  2. 2

How will you stop my top lists, brand reviews and bonus pages from competing with each other?

    Expect
A page map with one primary query per page, not “more content”.
    Us
That map is the first deliverable of the audit.
  3. 3

What happens to a page when an offer changes, a licence is withdrawn or a brand closes?

    Expect
A named process, with someone responsible for it.
    Us
Offer and licence checks are part of every content brief; dead brand pages are retired or redirected in the plan, not left to rot.
  4. 4

What do you report: positions, or clicks out, first deposits and revenue?

    Expect
The second, by page and market, from your own tracking.
    Us
Per market, monthly, with AI citations on the tracked prompt set.
  5. 5

How would you tell a core update from a spam-policy hit or a technical failure?

    Expect
A method read from Search Console, not a promise.
    Us
The diagnosis is part of the audit, page type by page type.
  6. 6

If we part, do I keep the content, the accounts, the data and the link list?

    Expect
    “Yes.”
    Us
    Yes.
  7. 7

Do you work with a direct competitor of mine in this market?

    Expect
A straight answer before you sign.
    Us
One affiliate per market. If a competitor of yours is with us there, we say so on the first call.

What we do not promise

Four things you will hear elsewhere and not here.

A position by a date

We forecast, we show the plan and the milestones, and we report against them.

Immunity from updates

Nobody can promise that. We can promise you will know which parts of your site carry which risk, before the update.

Scale from shortcuts

No private networks, parasite pages, expired-domain sites or content at volume.

Risk you did not sign off

Every part of the plan that carries risk is named as such, with the downside, before it runs.

Questions

How much does SEO cost for a casino affiliate site?

Ours starts at $6,000 a month for one site in one market, after a $6,500 fixed-fee audit. Across the category, AI assistants quote affiliates roughly $2,500 to $8,000 a month for one market and $10,000 to $20,000 and more for competitive or multi-country work, so the floor is set for sites that already earn.

Should I pay an SEO agency a fixed fee or a revenue share?

We work on fixed fees only. An agency paid on revenue share is paid for whatever sends clicks this month, which is the incentive behind most of what Google now penalises; if you do agree one elsewhere, tie it to incremental, attributable net revenue with a cap, an end date and audit rights.

How long does it take a casino affiliate site to rank?

Technical and indexation fixes show inside weeks, long-tail and payment-method pages move in the first quarter, and money pages in a competitive market take two to three quarters; the “best online casino” head terms take longer. Anyone promising a date for a position is guessing.

My review site lost traffic after a Google update. What should I do?

Find out what it was before changing anything: wait for the rollout to finish, compare equal periods page type by page type in Search Console, check for a manual action and for your own recent releases. A core-update recalibration, a spam-policy hit and a technical failure each need a different fix, and mass-disavowing links fixes none of them.

Is it safe to buy backlinks for a gambling affiliate site?

A paid placement is advertising, and Google asks for it to be marked rel="sponsored". Buy it for the audience and the referral traffic, never as hidden link equity, and see every domain before you pay; we show each placement before it is bought and the list stays yours.

What is site reputation abuse, and does it affect casino affiliates?

It is Google’s spam policy against third-party content placed on an established site mainly for that site’s ranking signals, renamed the site reputation policy in August 2026; Google’s own example is a “best casinos” page on a medical site. Affiliate links on your own site, treated appropriately as paid links, are not a violation under it; renting a section of someone else’s domain is the risk.

How do casino review sites get cited in ChatGPT and AI Overviews?

By being the clearest answer to that market’s question on a page the assistant can fetch: a self-contained answer near the top, first-hand data such as tested withdrawal times, licence and responsible-gambling detail, and the same facts about the site everywhere it is mentioned. We track a prompt set per market and report which sites each answer cites.

What makes a casino review site trustworthy to Google?

Evidence that the reviewer used what they review: tested deposits and withdrawals, a published scoring method, named authors, the licence and regulator stated, full bonus terms, and the downsides as well as the upsides. Pages kept current when an offer or a licence changes.

Do casino affiliates need a licence?

In some markets, yes, and the deal decides which. On revenue share, New Jersey requires an ancillary licence, Pennsylvania certification and Michigan a supplier licence; on flat fees or CPA, a registration. Ontario does not, as a rule, register marketing affiliates, but bans public bonus advertising on your pages too; in the UK the operator answers for you and can end the deal.

How do I measure whether SEO is working for my affiliate site?

By landing page and market: organic sessions, clicks out to operators, registrations, first deposits and revenue, with sub-IDs per page and placement so the programmes’ reports tie back to the page. If traffic rises and revenue per session does not, the work is producing visibility, not business.

You work with operators too. Is that a conflict?

It can be: an operator’s brand-SERP work competes with affiliates’ brand-review pages. That is why we take one operator and one affiliate per market, and why, if we already work with an operator you promote or compete with on its brand terms, we tell you on the first call, before you sign.

Do you work with affiliates of unlicensed operators?

No. We work with affiliates who promote operators licensed in the markets they target.

Start with the audit.

Tell us the site and the markets. We come back in two weeks with which pages earn, what is holding them back, what it is worth, and what the first quarter would look like. If we are not the right fit we will say so.

We reply within one business day, from a person. No sequence, no drip.

Two fields. We work the rest out on the call.
